In this video I’m going to share a really great way of improving your English. I call it ‘Verbal Diary’. I’m not talking about writing a diary; I’m talking about keeping a diary by talking.
The really great thing about this is that it will take you just 5 minutes or less each day – amazing!
It will help you improve your;
1. Speaking ability
2. Sentence structure
3. Vocabulary use
4. Confidence
…and you can check your progress.
This is how you do it.
1. Say one or two sentences a day.
2. Don’t think too hard about it – just say it.
3. Record yourself using your MP3, your computer or some other device.
You need to check your work to make sure that it is correct and there are two ways you can do this.
First, if you have an English teacher simply bring your verbal diary to class and ask your teacher to check your grammar etc.
Second, if you don’t have a teacher I have found a great resource online that you can use. http://textranch.com Go to this site and type in your sentence to see if it is correct - simple.
